Fine Winding Adjustable Balance Cock Holder
Designed for one of those jobs where an extra hand would be extremely useful.
The Fine Winding Adjustable Balance Cock Holder securely supports a balance cock and balance assembly while you work, helping keep the assembly stable under magnification while installing a hairspring, adjusting the hairspring stud, tightening screws, inspecting the balance, or performing other delicate balance work.
Unlike a fixed holder, the adjustable clamping arm moves in and out using the external control knob, allowing you to position and gently secure balance cocks of different shapes and sizes. The angled support area allows the assembly to be positioned in different orientations depending on what you need to access.
The holder also includes multiple support openings for positioning the balance staff and other protruding components without forcing the assembly to sit flat against the work surface.

K&D 501 Special staking set from the early 1900’s. Watchmaker staking set for Beginners
This is the 501 Special antique starter set from Kendrick & Davis has 12 punches and 4 stumps. All the punches are modern K&D Inverto punches and they are in great condition. They have all been through multiple cleaning processes as well as hand polished and inspected for damage.
* The box has been refinished with a walnut stain and a hand rubbed oil finish was applied.
* The Frame A has been stripped, cleaned and finished in a black enamel as the originals were and lightly oiled.
* The die plate holes are clear, the punch tube is straight and directly lines up with the die plate. The locking handle locks the die plate very solidly when applied.
This would be a great starter set for some beginner or hobbyist watchmaker.

C&E Marshall 100/25 Watchmakers Staking Set
Beautifully restored and ready for the bench, this vintage C&E Marshall Company 100/25 Watchmakers Staking Set features an exceptionally complete collection of original Marshall tooling housed in its refinished hardwood case.
The set includes 100 original C&E Marshall punches with no duplicates, along with 27 stumps, two more than the original 25-stump configuration.
Every punch has been individually inspected for defects, hand polished, ultrasonically cleaned in 99.9% isopropyl alcohol, and lightly oiled for protection. The staking frame has also been thoroughly cleaned, adjusted, and lightly lubricated for smooth operation.
The punches have been organized using the companion punch system demonstrated by the My Hobbies Are Not Cheap YouTube channel, making identification and selection of the correct punch considerably easier at the bench.

The original hardwood case has been lightly sanded, refinished in a rich walnut tone, and finished by hand with oil to preserve the character of the original wood while giving the set a clean, professional presentation.
The staking frame presents very well for its age. Minor scratches and wear remain in the chrome finish, consistent with normal use and the age of the tool. These cosmetic imperfections do not detract from its function or overall appearance.
