An uncommon vintage Seiko dress watch dating to approximately December 1971, powered by Seiko's 20-jewel caliber 17A manual-wind movement and housed in a genuine solid 14K white gold case.
The case is externally marked 14KWG and internally hallmarked 585, confirming solid 14-karat / 58.5% white gold construction. The case is marked 17-0410, while the original silver dial is signed JAPAN 17-0420S.
At only 20mm across without the crown and approximately 22mm including the crown, this is a wonderfully compact example of a period Seiko dress watch.
The watch is currently running and wearable. Testing on a timegrapher produced a clean trace at approximately +7 seconds/day with 0.7 ms beat error at the time of testing. The watch has not been recently serviced, and its previous service history is unknown. Timing figures represent its performance when tested and are not a guarantee of future accuracy.
