BenchTrack Repair and BenchTrack Inventory are two independent applications, but Suite owners can connect them for an integrated repair-and-parts workflow.
Connecting them takes just a few seconds:
Open BenchTrack Repair
Open BenchTrack Inventory
In BenchTrack Repair, go to Settings
Select Connect Inventory
BenchTrack will establish the local connection between the two applications
Once connected, BenchTrack Repair can access your Inventory while you're working on a repair.
From a repair, you can search your actual parts inventory, check availability and location, allocate a part to the job, mark it consumed when installed, or return an unused part to inventory.
Repair → Find Part → Allocate → Install or Return → Inventory Updated
The connection happens locally on your computer. There is no cloud service, online account, or internet connection involved.
Both applications also remain completely independent. Repair works without Inventory, and Inventory works without Repair. Just open both applications when you want to use the connected workflow.
